Stinkbug is the brainchild of Alfie Aukett and Thom Parris. Having collaboratively run and set up Next Door Records (record shop) in London - they were continuously inspired by the bleeps, bloops and dubs that the cities foundations were lay on - especially within West London. They begun to explore the middle ground between dub origins and modern techno / bass. The result was a flow of  percussive, sub driven dubbed out dance floor music. The stinkbug approach follows traditional sound system methods too and uses dub sirens and noise boxes to keep the rhythms moving.
